I found a very useful tip online the other day. I often visit youtube and wish I could download the video tutorials for later viewing on my system. I found out if you type ss just after the www. and then include the rest of the original link to the video, eg. www.ssyoutube.com/……. you will be taken to a website that will give you a number of options on the type and size of file you wish to download. I’m currently in a band called “The Encore”. We practice as much as possible and we are also aiming at entering a few local competitions once we get to the stage of being more confident about our performances.

I was mulling over a number of possible solutions where I could increase the size of my render farm without having to spend a vast amount of money, take up a large floor area or output excessive heat and noise. I started searching and found a number of solutions. I was originally going to head via the rack unit solution and convert my existing render nodes into 3u/4u racks but I found a solution that fits most of my requirements.
